Maximilian Hale
Physics Student, Software Engineer and Designer.
Hi there, I'm Max — a Physics student by day and a passionate full-stack software engineer and designer by night.
My go-to tech stack is Next.js with
TypeScript,
PostgreSQL, and
Tailwind CSS using Server Side
Rendering. I'm am experienced with
Python and
Django having utilized them extensively to build web
applications and APIs.
One of my recent projects that I'm particularly proud of is Hunori — a custom link-in-bio builder for academics that
allows them to quickly create an online profile page. Building
Hunori involved diving into DNS and custom domain management to
deliver a seamless user experience.
My background in Physics and Mathematics has given me a strong
foundation in problem-solving and systems thinking. I apply
I'm building a full-stack web application or designing the user
these skills when tackling complex coding challenges, whether
interface in Figma.
Beyond the world of code, I have a few other interests that keep me busy. I'm an avid ultramarathon runner, and I also enjoy giving back by tutoring GCSE and A-Level Physics students part-time at the university.
As I prepare to graduate next summer, I'm eager to find a role that allows me to leverage my diverse skill set and continue learning and growing as a developer. I'm passionate about creating innovative, user-focused applications that make a real impact.
